Privacy notice
A plain-language summary of what this website collects and why.
Who we are
This website is run by Ansari Rugs, a rug workshop in Mirzapur, India. You can reach us at info@theansarirugs.com.
Enquiries
If you send an enquiry, we receive the details you type: your name, email, country, optional phone number, who you are, size and quantity, your message, and any designs you shortlisted. We use them only to reply to you and to manage the order or project that follows. The form is delivered to our inbox through a form service (Web3Forms).
Analytics and cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they view, with IP addresses anonymised. If you choose Decline, analytics cookies are not used. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Your shortlist
Designs you save with the heart icon are stored only in your own browser. They are sent to us only if you include them in an enquiry.
Third parties
Rug photographs are loaded from Etsy’s image servers, so Etsy may see that your browser requested them. We do not run advertising, and we do not sell or share your details.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and for our business records.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to info@theansarirugs.com.
